Bolton Ramblers are off to the High Peak area of Derbyshire on Sunday, March 18th.
There will be two walks, one of 11.5 miles and the other of 8.5, with both starting in the lovely village of Hayfield and heading east along the River Kinder.
The longer walk then gradually ascends to Edale Cross before striking out over the open access moorland of Brown Knoll, eventually heading south and west to join the Pennine Bridleway.
The shorter walk stays low, remaining on the Bridleway from Hayfield. Just before Rushop Hall, both walks leave the main track and head for Chapel-en-le-Frith where there will be time for refreshments before boarding the coach back to Bolton.
