Westhoughton Town Mayor, Cllr Arthur Price, awarded a Civic Medal and The Honorary Freedom of the Parish of Westhoughton to Peter L Finch.
The award was in recognition of his long-standing, eminent and devoted service to the Community in both a civic and voluntary capacity, including his contribution as a Member of Westhoughton Town Council 1985 - 1995 and Town Mayor of Westhoughton 1986 - 1987.
Mr Finch is also a former Bolton Borough Councillor, Mayor
