School have invested in
a new 2 Year Old
Nursery for 24 children
to complement the
outstanding 3 Year Old
Nursery. Not only does
t h e s c h o o l h a v e
excellent resources for
the children to play and
learn with inside, but
with the investment in
outdoor play facilities the
children could ask for
nothing more. The children
in the Nurseries have
access to a real climbing
tree, a giant undercover
sand pit, an outdoor
kitchen, a den making area
and even t he i r own
builder's yard.
All the children we met
were busy playing and
learning in all the areas as
you can see from the
photographs.
After visiting the Greater
Manchester Fire Museum
last term the children in
Year 1 and 2 have been
learning about the Great
Fire of London. The
classroom displays and the
houses built by the children
really bring the classrooms
to life.
There are lots of exciting
things planned for the
school during the summer
break. Due to the success
of the school, more parents
are choosing to send their
children to Washacre
Primary School. As a

investment will be taking

classrooms being built and
the inside of the school
being remodelled to
enhance the learning
environments.
If you live in the area why
not call into the school and
have a look around for
yourself. Alternatively,
why not call the school on

an appointment. For
more information, why not
visit the schools website at
